1. What This Covers
This notice covers analytics and advertising cookies and pixels on the public TPSTA website. For how TPSTA handles student and applicant records, see the Privacy Policy.
2. What We Collect
We use analytics and advertising pixels that load when you visit the site. They collect anonymous usage data (pages viewed, traffic sources, general engagement) and ad-conversion signals (for example, that a visit from one of our outreach campaigns led to an application).
One exception involves our application form. If you submit an application and have not opted out of ad tracking, the contact details you provide (email, phone number, name, city, state, and ZIP) are shared with Google in hashed (one-way encoded) form so Google can measure which ads led to applications (“enhanced conversions”). Google cannot read the raw values from the hash, and we never share form data with Meta or TikTok — those platforms receive only page views and non-personal event names. If you opt out of ad tracking, nothing you type into our forms is shared with any of these platforms.
3. Platforms We Use
The following analytics and advertising pixels load when you visit:
- Google Analytics 4
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- TikTok
4. Your Choices
These pixels load automatically when you first visit. You can opt out at any time using the Opt out of ad tracking button on the cookie notice bar, or by using the Cookie settings link in the site footer to re-open that bar. Once you opt out, the pixels stay disabled and issue no further requests on your future visits. Simply closing the notice bar (“Got it”) does not change anything — it only hides the notice. You can also clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser settings.
5. Changing Your Choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the site footer at any time to re-open the notice and switch between allowing and opting out of ad tracking.
