Impact

Numbers the grants ask for.

Every dollar from a workforce grant, ESD partnership, or private donor shows up here - in graduates, in certifications passed, in counties served, and in deployments made.

Headline outcomes - total graduates, certifications issued, counties served, and deployments made - will appear here as cohorts complete and we have audited numbers to publish.
Cohort growth

Year over year.

2026 is tracking to graduate more students than 2021 through 2023 combined. Growth is driven by new partnerships with rural ESDs, expanded EMS seats, and the launch of the Rescue Task Force program.

First-attempt pass rates

Certifications that stick.

State and national certification first-attempt pass rates will be published here once we have audited cohort outcomes from NREMT, TSFA, TCFP, and DPS/PSB.

By program

Who we've trained.

Unique learners per program from our digital-learning platform, deduped so a student who took two courses only shows up once per program. Counts reflect the textbook-and-skills track only - instructor-led-only seats and continuing-ed hours are tracked separately.

Community fundraisers

Giving back to first responders.

TPSTA's community fundraisers underwrite the First Responder Scholarship, helping working firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and peace officers offset the cost of certification and continuing education. Every dollar raised goes directly to tuition support - here's what we've done so far.

Our first community fundraiser of 2026 wrapped recently - story, photos, and final tally coming soon.
